to fine tune we sometimes open the grate a mark or two toward max for corn and a mark or two to min for wheat and soybeans. Install retarder bar system such as concave rasp bars in separator concave or remove the helicals on the access panel cage just to the left of the thresher grate to elimimate those few kernals.
