I have some experience in various clovers with the regular af, but none with the afx 8010. My experience is all threshing with a rubber barred seed plate bolted to the concaves. If you dont have these on your modules, and wish to talk about them, the manufacturer of them is Dale Vanderzanden. He's in oregon USA, phone number (503) 647-2470. A description of the plate is, a plate rolled to the radius of the concave(module) and chemically prepped to have a series of rubber (polyeurathane mixtures) bars adhered to it. Once bolted to the concave (module) you raise the concaves untill contact with the rotor bars and simply rub them in to make a perfect match to the rotor. These bars will retard the material a great deal more than metal to metal and yet does it gently enough to use a higher rotor speed which will aid in the seperation once the seed is threshed. I hope that helps some. Maybe it at least gives an option to you if you need it.
