No just the transmission only Your right......all of your data is already on the card So you don't need to say yes.. If you have a spare card laying around you could switch them and then save a backup on a secondary card but i wouldn't worry about it

I may have ours set up wrong, but if i dont do the backup every day, I get the wrong date saved when i go to download the card onto the computer. If this is not the case for you, then don't worry about it.

thats kinda weird... are you useing a touchpad monitor or the black box also...what software version and im assuming youve looked over the date and time on the monitor itselfIJ

We have the black box and Version 3.0 sortware. The date and time are accurate on the monitor. If i dont back it up, I get everything with the date 7_26_1996 and enters into the software with the crop year 1996, as you would expect. However, if you come back to the same field the next day, put the card in and erase the previous days data, it says the card needs formatting and does that. It will then log correctly. If you have any ideas why it is doing this, I am all ears. I have no earthly idea. I think this software is about the most unforgiving of "mistakes" of anything I have ever used.

thats insane lol well i admitt its been a long time since i used that program but thats a very weird deal thats also problem.. I know of someone who's really good with this stuff but its hard telling how much he remembers about that system Whats your email and i'll give you his number

Thanks, but I am thinking I am going to upgrade. Besides that, it took me so long to get something to work, I am afraid to change anything. Stupid, I know, but... Anyway, thanks for the help.
