Combines AFS mapping software

Any guy that says they have never blend wet_high screenings grain with "better" stuff is a straight out lier. My point was that with the map it would be far safer to attemp to pick out a "drier" area, given the lie of the land, soil types etc. That said, I have seen guy's try to lace grain so wet that when the tipped the trailer only the dry stuff ran out on top and the wet grain on the bottom didn't move untill the trailer was nearly vertical!! Needless to say he wasn't a popular man.

I always thought it a little ironic that the elevator operator would complain about a guy putting wet or damaged grain on the bottom of the truck when he, himself, has the railroad cars loaded with the bad stuff on the bottom just out of reach of the grain inspector's probe.

When you say you only get a read out and no map what exactly do you mean. I have an 03 2388 with the full AFS package and we get the map of the field up on our screen in the combine. We also have a reader which will put this information on our desk top and we can then print it out. It works really well for us. I hope you can clear up your comments. Thanks.
