There were two versions of yield monitor used in these machines. I have the original in my 2188. These did not come with card readers. You either needed a laptop with a PCMCIA slot(s) or a reader on a desktop to complement the setup. I'm not sure if the newer yield monitor is different. I would guess the added cost of the items you mention is not justified unless you are going to add GPS and do some yield mapping in preparation for variable inputs in the near future. You can purchase the software from CaseIH ( and probably others like Agleader). I'm not sure what it costs since mine came with the combine new, and has always been upgraded on request by CaseIH.
