We still run our 1979 1460.......when it was purchased new....ran around something like $95000. Can't recall exactly cuz we traded a 915 model in as well. it has since had the electronic hydraulic update along with normal wear and tear repair.......still going strong sharing the harvest load of 2000 acres ...over 4500 hours on the machine.

I looked in my Iron Solutions book and the last factory price was $83,700.00. That would have been just the combine no heads and no major options yours has RWD so that would add some to the new price you are right they are a great machine. They are like the energy bunny they just keep going and going and going...

I attended the Mid-South Farm and Gin show in Memphis this weekend. The 8010 was on display and the guy there said it would list for about $260000 and you could probably buy one for 230000. I'm not sure if this included a head or not. What a bargain!!IJIJIJ!! Aside from the wad of hyd lines on the left side of the machine it looked OK. Probably gonna be a little heavy in muddy conditions like rice fields. Dealer friend of mine said they were thinking about dressing them out with the equivalent of 24.5 X 32R2 duals and large rears (28lX26IJIJ) for rice machines. Might not be a bad place to try the big rubber tracks.
