You might check with a machine shop for that kind of money. They can usually make about anything and they get cheaper the more you buy. I just bought a used 2015 Tye through some "horse" trading. Any tipsIJ
It's called a tiepo. . . , oops . . ., sorry, . . . a typo! I fully realize that it has to be "totally accurate" in order for "some" of you "Gleaner guys" to understand it; - I'll work with ya'!
I know what you saying and I have run in to it to.I have had my dealer send in a complaint and have had some prices lowerd.I have also run into high priced parts in all brands on some thimgs. If you have a 8160 check the wirering harness above the engine make sure it is still tied up off the engine.I take care of some tractors in this area for a dealer that is 100 miles away.I had a 8160 that the harness fell on the engine and almost burned up.The wires burned through a high preasure fuel line and its lucky it shut off.The wireing harness was cheap the fuel line was alot and the dealer was looking into that.I would like to know what you find on your harness. good luck
Well I just went to my local IH dealer to get some new opener blades for my 900 CaseIH planter and the blades were $30 dollars a piece I bought my Kinze blades for $22 dollars a piece. Seems to me that IH openers blades are pretty dang pricey, but the only reason I even made an issue of it was because of this Agco parts price conversation. Maybe if you make all your parts out of earth metal its like adding a little bit of gold to it.
