A neighbor who runs a lot of acres has an 8360 and he is very happy with it. He wouldnt even consider his old brand next time. Tom in MN

My question is why don't they improve the transmission in the AGCO star tractorsIJ Nobody wants a gear transmission in a new tractor. Even a partial 3 or 4 speed power shift would be a big improvement.

I understand you can buy it either way. Many of us prefer a fixed gear tranny for reasons that are too controversial to discuss this early in the morning. Tom in MN

My question is, why did AGCO-AllIS ever go back to the design of the MF big 4 wheel driveIJ I feel strongly they should have went back to the awesome design of the White tractors such as the 4-210. You can't beat those tractors. They are streamlined, narrow, powerful, adjustable, 3-point and pto standard, a joy to ride and drive in. I think AGCO-AllIS screwed up, they should have went to the WHITE design and then they would sell like hotcakes. Everyone and I'm talking everyone in my area loves those tractors and said if they'd come out with that again, they'd get one instead of those tractors you bounce your "*****" off in with the smaller front tires. I think today I would go to a Cat track tractor but if they come out with the late style Whites, you'd see one of the best tractors on the market again!!!!!!!!

The reason AGCO went to the "MF" was bacause the company they bought was really McConnel tractor company.. The story goes a little like this,,,,McConnell built 4wd for Massey for a long time , but when Agco bought Massey they did not continue the relationship with McConnel,,,,,Till one day AGCO woke up and decieded they wanted in the big 4wd market.......so AGCO reaches down into that pocket where MR Ratliff keeps the money and bought McConnel Tractor co....... Oh yes, the white 4wd many people loved them, the same goes for the IH 2+2, alot of people would kill for a new one......I don't see them coming back , it is too small a market at this time....

Did you notice that all of your AGCO AllIS tractors are actually MASSEY tractors painted orange.

No, they are AGCO tractors painted red, silver, and orange. They are simply built in what was a Massey factory. Haven't we been through this beforeIJ
