Ramrod: The components are bolted on, angled sweeper paddles which help to spiral trash to the discharge and also provide some agitation for separation. No way to post pics here, but if you'll email I'll send you a photo. Hunter has a link to St.Johns below. The bars we made are very similiar but I have fastened to open rotor. I will get picture as soon as I get cylinder back or my rep forwards the pictures he took. Get me your address. I have a heck of a lot more of these bars fastened to my rotor but I'm sure we don't need that much. In my case I fastened only a couple over concave area and that dramatically reduced overfeeding thus door poping open. I only set up this rotor for edible beans but will see if there is a combo where we can run many crops. So far so good but in very early stages. Sounds like St. Johns has very good results with much fewer bars.

The characteristics of our rotor are different, in that we install the bars so the leading face and the top arch of the teeth feeds material as opposed to the forward tipped bars of OEM etal which feed mostly with the rear 1_2 of the top of the teeth. This makes our rotor more aggressive to begin with. I'd conjecture, however, that one uninterrupted full spiral or 2 interrupted spirals at 180 deg. opposite each other would be adequate in most conditions.
