Combines Air Filter warning light

Hello IowaDan, You may want to replace your safety_internal air filter, especially if it hasn't been changed for some time-it can become restricted even though it doesn't look dirty. Had the same symptoms on my R7 (not air-cooled of course) and initially changed external air filter (filter warning remained on),then changed safety filter and light went out. I believe there have been postings on this page concerning checking the precleaner for clogging. David

If you run in the rain or mist or snow it can make that main filter almost uncleanable but can also plug the asperator over time and they are hard to clean, remove then tap and blow from every angle but careful not to break the plastic inserts. If the air filter gets dirty very fast this is usually the problem.
