I've run one two seasons now in a 1660. Overall, the machine does a good job of cleaning and have reduced returns volume. However, one side effect I experienced with the wind deflector is having grain (mostly corn) run forward off the chaffer and into fan housing. (Trouble with both the combination and long fingered corn chaffer) So, on both chaffers I installed a piece of round baler belting to seal between chaffer and bottom of grain pan. I now have no more fan plugging problems and I think it forces all of the air up through the shoe instead of some of the air escaping through this gap. My challenge now is trying to get my shoe loaded evenly. Good luck!
