Combines air foil chaffer

I have a adjustable air foil chaffer in a 1460. I run the bottom sieve wide open in corn and beans. I have been thinking about taking the bottom sieve all the way out and put in just a rectangular frame to balance out the shoe. I would go with the airfoil chaffer again.

Do you adjust your air foil often or would a fixed air foil work OKIJ How open or closed do you run your air foilIJ What kind of chaffer did you have in your 1460 at firstIJ Thanks for your input.

I have found the sweet spot for corn and beans , so i seldom ever change the setting. That said, I would not want a fixed airfoil ! I had the factory one in there till I changed it. jeff

I have heard and read many good comments on the solid and adjustable air foils for the 2388. I would suggest going for the adjustable, and this way you can adjust for all crops and conditions.
