With my past experience airfronts are not that helpful. They put dirt in the sample and on windy days they are no good. Crops that we have in Australia this year are short and you will have to get right down on the ground and it's very dry, which in turn will blow dirt in the front, incresing wear and tare and as mentioned above they put dirt in the sample. The better alternative I beleve is to put on light crop fingers with a batreal. If running a table auger front a virbramat may also be needed. Also if you put primary double cut knife guards on with the light crop fingers you will also increase your ground speed and be more versatile for other crops such as pulse crops and heavy yielding crop (the double cuts). The cost will be cheaper and you get more value for your money.
