Combines air intake temp

I had the same problem this year. I think it was the hot days (over 100 F.) because the alarm would only go off traveling one direction in the field. We slowed down 1.5 mph in that direction and went regular speed the other directions. If you find a cure, please post so we can make adjustments next year.

I had mine sound this year too. Scared the heck out of me....thought it was the engine oil pressure alarm. I stopped and read in the manual about the alarm. I think it said if the alarm keeps sounding, it will shut off the separater.

check to see if your fan belt is bad. my alarm went off during wheat and everything was clean then the motor started running warm checked the cooling fan and it was hardly spinning. the belt get hard and start to slip.

Nascarfarmer, We had a 2188 that the header_throat would stop for no reason. We replaced the air intake temp sensor on the intake manifold and cured our problem.

is radaitor nice and clean. the air has to be sucked through it to get air flow at intercooler.
