Combines Air Jet and Flax

Are there any modifications to your combine such as a fan throat kit or a air deflectorIJ What is your concave and separator grate configurationIJ

There are no mods to air system other than the air jet. I have 9 Gordon bars over the large wire concaves 3 cover plates, IH bars over keystock grates 0 clearance rotor 1050 fan 950 seems to give least seed loss. Still have a few untreshed flax balls and some chaff. Terry

The holes in the canola screen are 1_8 inch diameter. About what is the size of the flax balls that you are finding in the grain tankIJ Have you checked for any shoe frame problems or places where the flax is getting around the AirJet systemIJ Are you going down any steep hillsIJ

Marvin, I must have a different screen. Holes seem more like 3_16 or larger. letters on screen are NlW. No hills and I will check system for gaps at sides of chaffer.

For flax, you should use the .125 inch round hole screen.
