CR....First of all, do you have the "High Capacity" Corn elementsIJ This is a must for high moisture corn. These elements are a larger opening in them. You may get a few bits of cobs in your sample. With that said, I lot of HM corn will be okay with a little cob. If you do not have the right elements call Marvin and request them. I harvested on some hills last year for the first time and know they will work fine for you...no slowing down because you will get the stomach felling that corn is going over the back. Brodale; The air jet chaffer provides a cleaner sample and also cuts your returns to basically nothing, resulting in more capacity. My bottom sieve is pretty much wide open, that's the way I ran it for wheat and will leave it there for corn. Marvin says you should run it pretty well open and make sure your fan is at 1250. My feeling is that it is well worth the money. I have a HM corn customer in Embro on lighter ground that wants to go. I know what Perth County is like, I have 200 acres rented up there, it doesn't dry out very quick up there. Good luck with the harvest.
