Combines AIRFOIl CHAFFER

I just installed one last week in my K. I also have high speed fan pulley. I've only used it in soybeans and it seems to have good capacity. They require lots of air. I removed the lower seive to give it more air. They do not have any adjustment, only controlled by air flow. They are also very well built. The clean grain had just a few hulls in it, but not bad. We bought one when we had an M3 and had a local repair-all shop cut it to fit an R50_52. We use ours and like it really well for small grains and soybeans but in corn, it plugs up with little bits of cob so we use a standard chaffer for that. Also doesn't work as well as a regular chaffer on slopes. Good luck-

If you are interested in an adjustable airfoil, the Petersen chaffer is very close to it. Check it out at www.loewenmfg.com, as they manufacture both types.

Goober I don't know any thing about soybeans but in field peas I had the same problem with small stones on my 860, I open the returns door and rethrasher door when I harvest peas. on a 60 bushel pea crop theres not enough loss on a 40 acre field to feed a pair of ducks.
