Hey, i have heard of thoses heads. John deere has them ranging from 4-8 row any spacing (i used my friends once) They look just like a corn head, but use a gathering belt, not a stalk roller. They should be about the same price as corn head. if you go to www.ironsearch.com you might beable to find a used one at a way lower price!

Harvestec has an 8 row 28 inch or 30 inch head that works exceptionally well in milo and sunflowers. The price is exceptionally good. They use gathering chains simlar to a corn head, together with a collector shield that collects all the seed_heads and moves the material back into the cross auger. A rotary knife at the rear of the gathering chain cuts off the stalks. Because of the position of the knife, it is not suitable for soybeans. These heads are simple, functional and reliable.
