Kurt You can use an all crop head in corn,but you have to go quite a bit slower due to the amount of excess trash intake associated with harvesting the whole plant. If you only plant a few acres you have nothing to lose except a little time so you might as well go for it GOODlUCK AZCUTTER

Have tried combining corn with row crop head. Was not successful!!!!!! However, my attempt was in 160 bu corn that was flat on ground from windstorm. The gatherer belts will not feed entire stalk to auger, because they lose their grip on stalk about half way up and stalks pile up. If you had small stalk and ear size, the corn was dry, and stalks standing so you could cut it just below the ear, there's a chance it would work on a few acres. "A" series heads would probably handle the stress better. let me know after harvest on this website how this worked. Good luck.

Thank's guy's, I'm only going to put in 25-30 acre's. I'll try the all-crop header and I'll let you know what happen's. Kurt
