Combines allis VS cummins

Never saw a Cummins in a F series. Perhaps you mean the 301 Allis diesel found in early F2---Same bore and sroke (I think) as the turbo'd 200, with two more cylinders--similar engine in a 185 Allis tractor, rated at the same power (95)in the combine. Runs quieter than the 200 but will use a bit more fuel. Ben.

Gleaner F and early F2 Diesel is the 301 6 cyl. late F2 and F3 had 200 Cubic inch four cyl with intercooler(same as 6080 tractor),this engine is the 4 cyl version of the 301 six cyl with intercooler added, very easy on fuel. No cummins until AGCO produced rotary machines of 90's.
