Mr. Hams, Thanks for posting on the show. Interesting. Sorry to hear about your poor yields. Was wondering if this is a relatively small portion of the Australian crop or is it wide spreadIJ Hope you have better next year. seems the bottom line to survival is still always bushels no matter where one farms. We had an average crop in my part of the US, but prices are in the tank:(

: ) No "Mr Hams" !! Just plain Ham is fine. Prices are "in the tank" as you put it, here also. It may surprise you to learn that our wheat prices are basically set at CBOT. Canola takes its lead from Winnipeg. The poor year was fairly widespead. Generally the Australian winter grain harvest is markedly down.

I think your right though the JD draper is still far above the others had a honeybee before them, always seemed to be something wrong with it, although the new mid west out of Dalby are supposed to be red hot. Sorry to here of your harvest woes better luck next year Sootty

No such difficulties on MacDons. Plugging has always been operator error in the past. We even cut soybeans with them (shaving the ground).
