Well gee, at least if they burn up, that means they were running. Unlike the green ones that don't run cuz of blowed up engines or the fact that they are being reworked every few hundred hours cuz they wear out from normal use! Hee hee hee-have fun!
still alive and well 8010 has performed flawlessly this year. it is the combine to have!! the gremlins have moved on. alot of 88 rotorgear cases blowning up everyone keep a eye on them
Farmer Tony , Its been a long time what have you been up toIJ You know my sister country gal. Did the 8010 really work greatIJ How many bph do you get IJ 12 row headIJ If so how fastIJ lets say 25% corn
in good corn 4800 it was around 20 biggest problem gettin rid of it hope to run 2 8010's in 2007 will need 3 or 4 1000 bushel carts to haul it away. if corn yields keep climbing how will we haul it awayIJ last field I picked ave 240 on 210 acres unreal for the year we had and it's $3.00 oh baby vegas here I come
Hey farmertony are you talking the entire gearbox on the 88's or just the pulley on the gearbox. I know on my 2003 2388 there is a factory update on the inside sheave of the rotor pulley it will crack around the bolts and pieces go flying everywhere. I have changed mine before it happened. I got the parts and changed it myself I think Case would pay the labor if you took it to your dealer to get it done.
