Does a speciality rotor work better than the standard rotor in corn_soybeansIJ I may be interested depending on the performance and price. Thanks, Pat PS: I assume this is for a 80 series combine.

I do not farm corn so I can't help you there, I do however farm soybeans, from my understanding the speciality rotor performs better in green stem beans over the standard rotor. Maybe someone who has had both rotors could help you more on the comparison, here in rice country we always run the speciality. It is for 80 series combine.

Pat, I think the standard rotor is hard to beat in corn and wheat, but the speciality rotor is sure nice in soybeans. I've had both and they can both be made to do a good job in both crops with a little patience. K.A.
