If you go with the paddles weld 2 pieces of heavy angle on the auger the full width of each paddle and throw Maywes' brackets in the trash. Bolt the paddles to the angle and go. Also, the paddles need to be trimmed as they are were too tall and hit when they rotated. We cut some of the finger off so it would clear, if I was doing it again I would leave the finger alone and trim the paddle instead even though new holes would need to be drilled in the paddle. Not sure if it would make a difference, but just a thought.
