Ken C had trouble 2-3 years ago raising a 12 row head. If I remember correctly, his dealer mechanic did a simple adjustment to raise pump pressure. He sold his farm in SD and now works for Novartis in Hawaii. Sorry I can't be more help. Tom in MN

Kurt, Do you have the big cylinders on your 72IJ If it isnt a Custom Harvester it would'nt have the big cylinders to lift the 12 row corn head. The reason I asked was we just traded for a 12-30 this fall and we had to put the bigger cylinders on to lift ours. The dealer can get them as a kit and they arent as much as they use to be. How do you like your headIJ I like mine, can shell alot of corn. How fast can you run with yoursIJ Mine is a stock 98 model 72 and Ive been running 3 to 3 1_2 in 170 bu. corn testing 18 to 20. But havent really pushed it. Just wandering what I should be able to run with it. later,

Thanks for your response. Yes we have the large cylinders. I will have to check to see if we can increase the pump pressure like Tom mentioned. We have just started to harvest and now have been rained out. I was picking 170 bushel corn, 15 moisture at 4.5 mph. But I need to due some fine tuning as I am breaking up the cob, thus slowing me down as I am overloading my seives a little bit. You said you had a stock machine, I have all foward bars in and have pulled out every other wire Thanks again for you help Kurt
