Combines anybody use neihause concavesIJ

How many sections of the concaves can you block offIJ Do you know if they have the factory contour or if they are line boredIJ

You can just block off the first section closest to the transtion cone.As for being line bored I think that they are full contour as they pretty much match the old concaves when laying on the floor anyway. Will

If I were you I would go ahead and try them with the first section blocked off. I think you will get along fine with them in the Specialty rotor. The thing that concerns me is the "sawtooth" section at the front. I have no idea what that would be for, unless it is supposed to slow material down by gripping it. Is it something you could remove with a torch or grinder if you had toIJ I would like to see a picture if you have one. Mike

Got a 1460 have used this style concave for 6+ years.I have astandard rotor.Works great in beans, corn and oats. Are the things in front concave mounted on the feed lipIJIf so probably are to help direct crop in faster.
