Yes, there is an update made out of cast iron. I've never seen one of those break. Kind of tricky to get in on the right hand side, but beleave me it will go in there. K.A.

I just put the cast iron 2388 rail on a 1680 this summer. We were in a hurry and just did the left side to get us by. It comes with the needle bearings and seals already installed. We put new shafts in also just to be sure everything was perfect. Both sides are identical and interchangeable. The rail is PN 352013A1 and the pin is 1979251C1. You will need to supply the bolts. To do both sides you need Qty 10 1_2"X1-3_4", Qty 4 1_2"X2", and Qty 2 1_2"X2-1_2" according to the parts guy. We used some other sizes we had on hand. I think it's safe to say that these rails are so much stronger that they will never break, short of all out abuse. You need to pull the sieves to get all the bolts installed. Have fun, Mike

The best way to install the RH brace is to install the brace then remove the pivot pin from the shaker arm and put the pin through from the inside. It helps solve the clearence problem

Dingo, How is that pin fastened in the shaker armIJ With that pin out it would make things a lot simpler. I always mount the brace with the shaker arm together. K.A.

The pin has a shoulder on it and is threaded on the end. I'll send you a picture. Mike

pin is press fit ,you would ruin threads by removing in the machine. it willcome out with the arm and bar by holding your mouth right but tight. then when reassembling you can install yoke_
