yeah we plan on going as well dealer asked us to go he is taking a bus of people last i heard he had about 30 or so going, from what i have heard and saw looks to be a good one, just hope they did the changes that were needed on the new combines like i was told was gonna happen, the challener at lousiville didn't have anything different done so i am hoping it was just a dry run. allen

well for starters i would like the A_C unit moved they put it to where you have to take the feederhouse off to replace the rotor bearing the previous models you could change it no problem since the a_c unit was not in your way so baseically now it costs ya more time to change that bearing. i would like to see a better unit as well you always have to have it on high speed to keep cool in the summer time needs more fans rpms and they call it automatic temperature control its very far from it when u are in the sun your are hot going away you are cold we have an 03 model maybe they have changed em by now, rode in a 2388 of a neighbors with the temp control and wow it worked just one thing i don't get on that is why it works in a combine but not in the case tractors that i don't get. i hope the hopper fills evenly on them from our xp we had we could hold around 300 bushels of corn now all we can get is about 250-260 dry that is so we lost 40 bushel of capacity, i told the rep that and he said yeah that is one thing we are working on i was about time that was 2 years ago and from what i heard still not changed! i sent in a survey in a while back about short of power they have got a lil bit of it now, i told them to put the motors at 305 horse standard ok got that then put power bulge of up to 325 ok somewhat got that but then what i wanted is to have another power bulge of 345 when u kick the unloading auger on that would help a lot here we unload on the go 90%of the time and have to slow down when doing so. we run a lot at night so lighting is a necessity well we had the xp before and they had a light system had double bulbs in the outside 6 halogens it light up the sky i loved it then we got the lights we have now a lot left to be desired at least in my opinion maybe its just me i have adjusted them and still not totally happy with them, but the one that ticked me off most was that they said it has row finder lights on it yeah on one side it did dipshits forgot to add the other light to it till 2 years later, then if u want to get it you have to get the hid lighting system through ago so for a 50 dollar light u have to pay 1000 for just to ge the hids not worth it, but now i see it is standard we got one put on it now the dealer said he would pay for it just got the one row finder after they said hey u messed up they were like ok finally. but they have backup lights i do like that now, but one thing i was told would be changed would be longer feeder house still don't have that they way the rep at louisville talked like might be nother year or so i hope he is wrong i noticed the cab if farther foreward that previous models more of a pain to hookup now by yourself, thought it might get changed with the new ones to me it didn't look like any longer but it might be changed by now rep also said there will be more changes made by the release date, i still love the combine and all like where they are going just some things i would like to see done and fixed as i was told they would be. i just hope for agco's sake they did a lot of RandD on it they need this combine to compete with the bigger ones, anybody out there hearing cat is making some deals on combines sure hearing a lot of stuff around hereIJ allen

lots of good idea's and would agree on all of them, but what do you think of the new machine, as far as what they have done to the drives and unload augerIJ cast drives like claas, and a very unconventional unload auger but if it goes 4.5 bps, who really caresIJIJ was to a challenger meeting here last week and seems like they fixed alot but not sure they fixed all the stuff in need myself. enjoyed your comments thoroughly, hopefully agco reads this too and does too!!

well for not seeing the new MF machine up close i am not sure but since seeing the cat i think they are going the right way. things do look built better on it just they need to bring all that stuff down on the other models as well to make them more attractive comparing them to the other models out there. i have heard people say the unloading auger looks cheap but i say well if it will put the crop out that fast does it matterIJ to me no but some people around me is does matter different people around us. one more thing while talking about augers on them, i'm sure everybody will agree with me on this. how many augers does everybody else have out there on this combines unloadnig augers i meanIJ most of them have one option and AGCO has 3 now before people get all huffy here i see the need for 2 not 3 though! the turrent auger on the gleaner is the one that was on the MF conventionals and it worked the one on the rotor combines well CHEAP high wear spot when the corn has to turn to go out wears out real fast there is way too much gap up there and if your on food grade crops where u have to clean out the hoppers u can't do it there is a lot of beans and corn still up there in that auger that u have to take the cover off and clean out with a sweeper. seems stupid to me for a company to put a cheaper auger on that combine then put the good one on that gleaner but we are talking about agco here though! sorry to say that but its the truth that auger needed to be canned back in 97 when they came out with it and the one MF designed put on the MF and the gleaner both not give the geaner one and the mf another one. think about it guys less money they are out only makes sense it cutting costs well that is one way they didn't, it wears out in half the time of the other augers as well when we had the conventionals we never did replace one. our combine has 869 engine hours on it and the end there where the corn meets u can almost cut your finger off its that wore in just i think about 600 seperator hours and on the conventionals they would last double that. so i hope the new combines they know they have a problem and i hope they fix it, it needs attention. but i hope they are comeptively priced to deere and case and such, but around here they prolly won't sell one being stong case and deere area. allen

i looked at the auger myself and it didn't look any cheaper then the deere, not that we want to compare ours to theres, but it didn't look to bad in my opinion, however the parts i didn't like was they introed a new machine with the same old cab, and no auto leveling sieves of some sort and really no mention of any in the near future, just ideas as to what to tryIJ over all i thought the machine looked perty good and the fact that they are going to trickle down the looks to the smaller ones is good but just wish they would of had all class sizes introed at once instead of stringing it out 2 yearsIJ most things looked to go me, just a few that didn't. hopefully there competitively priced like you said and last longer then 800 hours before major component failures (like the deeres) as agco can't afford to build like deere in that respect, they won't keep or grow the buisness like deere has.

the other augers are fine they are double flighted on the wear spots so that helps a lot not sure why they are not double flighted on the unloading augerIJ and we did get the crome augers as well with this combine that helps a lot just that auger did not get no crome either. as u said yeah and i said they have to build them better for deere to want them and yeah have more of the other features like self leveling sieves and other things as mentioned. allen
