Regarding a 9760STS with 635 Hydroflex and high unload rate system during the wheat harvest. The cutter bar does a nice job in short wheat and at pretty high ground speeds. It would be nice to have a factory Contour Master sensor system for this head when locked up rigid. Running using pressure sensor does not let the header drop over the top of hills or terraces w_o running too heavy on level ground. Auger and_or frame flexs and hits the stripper too easily. Full fingered auger feeds short crop well(30 bu_a or less),but carries over near the center in heavy crop (45+ bu_a). Combine and header were pretty reliable and easy to maintain, but there are several negative features: Shot pins for locking header on tend to work back out of the header holes. No % engine load. No viewable tailing sample. Returns are near the rear of the threshing area, so no good way to clean up white caps. Right corner post and harvest monitor system certainly restricts right side of view header, making reverse cut opening around a field more stressful than necessary.
