My kids need new boots and I want to buy them Muck boots. I haven't found a warmer, more comfortable pair yet. They are kind of expensive though for just 1 year of wearing (I'm sure they will outgrow them). What are your thoughts?
You can often find deals on these boots if you look around. Dick's Sporting Goods has some of the kids' sizes on sale for $80 or so. I like L.L. Bean's duck boots myself, but they are priced the same as your preferred brand.
I'm a fan of Muck boots too. You can get knockoff boots though that would probably be just as good. I hate spending a lot of money on name brand things when the kids outgrow them so quickly.
I also like Muck boots, but as you say, they could outgrow them in a year. Cheaper alternatives include Grubs Waterproof Boots, Dunlop Wellies, Dress and Style Rubber Boots, and Kamik Hunter Boots.
