Only connection that is known is Bob Ratliff, former exec from IH and a few of his friends that started Agco. Now "PURE RUMOR" has it that if Fiat dumps CaseNH that Agco has first shot at buying_merging with them. And this comes about from Bob Ratliff and Associates having such good ties with the old IH part of the company. Otherwise Fiat_landini has control of CaseNH and no financial ties with Agco, just old friendships. Agco and Case did have joint ventures in Hesston and when Fiat bought CaseIH, Agco got all of the Hesston line, because New Holland had their own line of Hay and Forage to push with the New CNH. Fiat bought the old Allis Chalmers Industrial Equipment and made it Fiat Allis back in the 70's but of course "Agco" didn't exist then. But again, No Known past or present business dealings between "Agco" and "New Holland".
