I was there and it was $17,000. Nothing special about it either, other than it was in good shape. Not a corn plus, no digital readout for tach or ground speed, still had the lever you pull up to unload the auger. Here's a few other items at that sale: 75 Ford F-700 tandem - $9000 74 Ford F-600 single - $8000 83 Case 4690 - $11,000

Was that sale close to WichitaIJ I had seen a 4690 Case on a sale bill in that area with just over 4,000 hrs. How was the condition of the tractorIJ I saw a Case 4490 sell for around $12,000 this week that had 4200 hrs. It was in excellent shape.

Yeah, this was the Wichita sale (Clearwater actually). It had about 4000 hrs and was good shape, but all 8 tires were bald (less than 10%). The 1996 New Holland Versatile at that sale brought $63,000 and its tires were pretty poor, maybe 20%.
