do these bars have every other bar cut out and the remainder hard surfacedIJIJIJ if so I had a set of these in a l-2 yrs ago I loved em!! very agressive and did a fine job to boot. good luck Bob
These are standard bars (no teeth cut out),but that is what I need. I grow buckwheat and soybeans in the northcountry (NY). My old bars had every other tooth removed and were badly worn. Worked fine in dry corn, but lousy in the buckwheat. My losses were so bad last year and I had so much volunteer buckwheat this spring that my dad asked why I planted so early
Had a set of wore out ones in our M2, dealer talked me into changing them out for wide spaced tungsten set of Agco's. This was done in the summer, then fall came and was disappointed in the Agco bars, tried to get the old ones back but had already been sent in as a core set to a re-builder. They seemed to have more swinging weight and would hammer right thru bean stubble. Highly recommended them even when worn out.
