Combines Aussie Draper Front

Pedro, Good to hear you got some rain. Down here in the northern Riverina, it is all but over. Only isolated patches might harvest something - the rest has died or been fed off. Those MidWest fronts are (in my opinion and many other contractors) the best on the market by miles. Our local Case dealer is getting customers to have a really close look at them when purchasing a new machines instead of the Case_McDon on offer. Mid West fronts are very simple, strong and don't hang another 18" forward like all others on the market. I wish them every success. When the seasons turn around, I will be looking at them seariously for a new machine. Good luck with harvest. You'd better take that money while it's on offer.

Rain west of pedro's area wasn't anywhere near that. West of Roma only got 4 to 10mm on the 21st and then over the following weekend the lucky ones got up to 15mm. East of Roma did much better, and fortunatley for them that is where the better crops are. Crops that are still going out here are either fantastic (very small patch) or very sad. Most crops are going to be very low and very light and patchy. For any keen young fella's out there this might be a good year to strap a 30ft closed front on an old 585 Massey and make some money. ;-)
