We are in W.A. and have been lucky to miss most of the rain ,there's been s--tloads in place's.The season really turned around here from a dry start. finished barley av.17.5bags,wheat so far av.16.5 bags, you can say we are happy chappys. Oz.
Over here in South Australia it has been terrible weather.Got the Barley off before the rain, one paddock went 22 bags other went 25 mostly malting1 but those days are finished this year.Even the wheat will be stuffed done 2 days harvesting in two weeks.I hope it improves as I cant see us finishing before the end of January!!!
I'm from Ongerup in W.A. We have had 150mm of rain since we started harvest. If it stops raining now we may have a chance of still getting some of the crop off.
The summer sorghum crops in Sth Qld are looking terrific at this stage, would be the best start to summer for many years, about time after a shocking winter yet again.
