Go and have a look at this site http:__www.agha.org.au_ I'm sure you'd be able to find a contact there.

Hello Helmut, Go to the NH talk show there is a guy on there who has posted recently questions about a CX under the name Charlie,he has just purchased two NH CX's and I think he is connected to Evans harvesting from New South Wales in Austrialia. They have a website but I've lost the address, good luck, Andy.

Without naming anyone I was told Case have been running some 8010AFx's in rice in NSW. This dealer I Spoke to went and saw them run and was mighty impressed. I think they will not be in Aust until '04 but don't be surprised if you see a couple flaoting around this harvest (if there is a decent harvestIJ) Note the New NH CR's have the same body as the new Case AFX's and the cab is very identical also. Only main difference is the AFX has a single rotor up the cuts. Have been on a CR970 and I can tell you after this harvest everyone will be talking about them. Incredible machine. Only problem is combines are getting way too expensive for contracting now as contracting rates have not changed in 10years. Another drought will wipe out 80% of contractors. I have everything crossed for some bloody rain in the next couple of weeks.

You're right about the AFX machines in rice in NSW - have been here for a least 2 years that I know of. Apparently they had some early trouble feeding into the rotor but have fixed that problem this year. They were changing motors around to see which one would perform better - Iveco is the latest. You're also very right about the contracting game also. We all need harvesting prices to rise to a sustainable business level. 20% rise would not be unreasonable. All we need to do is All stick to the rise.
