From a southern NSW perpective, we need rain last week! Most crop is in but it is taking a hammering from continual heavy frosts. Are you in the contracting businessIJ

pedro it's shocking here too on the Darling Downs. I planted some cattle feed to-day which will be watered up.We recieved 660 points in Jan. in two days since then the biggest fall has been 43 points so it looks like our headers won't be doing much in Qld.again.I'm told that the South Australian crop is going well again.john

Rod, Yes we are in the contracting business. We have a New Holland TX66 and do a bit or carting as well. Our main occupation is farming on the Western Darling Downs but we do a bit of contracting to help make the payments. How about yourselfIJ Which area of S_NSW are you from RodIJ pedro

John, Which part of the Downs are you fromIJ We have a block in the Formartin area as well. We moisture seeked some wheat there in early June which is OK. Would like rain in the next few weeks though. You would wonder how long this weather will keep going on. pedro

I'm from near Griffith in the MIA - heart of the irrigation country. We had 8mm last night but desperately need another 25mm to "even up the ledger".
