Thanks for the pics. I give them 2 thumbs up with no need for a recount. (US election humor)

The Red,they made a tele-movie about 6 miles from here a few years ago called i think Kansas. They shot it here because it was the middle of winter over your way.It was supposed to be set in a country town in Kansas and the country here is a lot like that, flat heavy soils. Our houses are a lot different so they built a american style farmhouse in the middle of the paddock and tore it down when they were finished. Some friends of ours supplied the combines and they thought it was great, first time the combines ever made money sitting still. You just don't believe everything you see in movies.john

gunner most contract harvesters(custom cutters) here in Australia tow the heads behind the combines. We weld a towbar on the combine and some use a ball hitch, some use a small ring-feeder. Because the harvest shifts mostlly are around a 100 miles at a time or under it's not worth putting combines on a low loader.Due to our season it's hard to run a large group of combines to-gether,there are only a few operators that run more than six machines two or three are the rule so the cost of using a low loader is a lot more per machine. We would love to go back to just one combine instead of the three we have because we don't make three times the money and get five times the headache. john

I saw that movie. Girl's dad died and she brought in the corn crop. They had a TV sequel that was a flop.
