The Australian wheat crop is basically totally harvested by now. Most of it occurs late Nov through Jan, although there are earlier and later areas. Temps over 100 F at harvest are common. We had 115 last week.
In north eastern Australia we are starting into the summer harvest, sorghum, sunflowers, millets, beans and cotton. We started on sorghum this week but some crops are still flowering so the last few weeks of heat has hurt some crops but we have been lucky in having good falls of rain in the last two months.It has been hiting 105+ in the shade here.
