Combines auto corn head

You want your accumulator valve open when using the corn head - it takes the shock out of head raising_lowering. Sounds like your accumulator needs to be charged if your head is bouncing like that. Ours does the same thing if wide open, but we just crack the valve open a bit - just enough to take the shock out but not enough for it to bounce. We also run our bean head this way. I can see how you would be having problems with auto header height if your head is bouncing that bad.

only run a short distance and shut it off, do it manually, but as I have found out you cant see all the snouts . thosr little ravines can be costly.
