Yep. Its do-able. Massey sells a kit that will convert either the head or machine or both over to the yellow pulg in type. We did our 8780 last fall so we could use either the older 800 flex or the new 8000 flex on it. I don't have a part number but if you want to give my dealer a call he'll fix you up with either the right part n or the parts. His number is 870-886-2291. Talk to J.R. or Floyd
