Combines auto reel problem

Depending on how big the head is or who ordered it, ours has a torque limiter and it is on the right hand side of the head, by the counterweights. I believe you turn it counterclockwise to increase flow. This provides protection to the reel if you hit the ground, post, or other obstructions.

look inside the console next to your right heel. In there you will find a auto reel box. One white knob on left (I think) is minimun speed, turn the knob fully CCW then back to where th reel is at about 15RPM with oil warm. Do the same with the RH know fully CCW (I have no idea why turning the knobs full CCW but it works sometimes - just something some rep said many yrs ago) then with the knob on the console at mid point turn the macro adjustment -the other white knob- on the box to get the speed you need. Then fine tune with the one on the console. The problem with the auto reel speed which has been correct on the 5 series is thatthe faster you go the faster the reel goes but as you reach the higher speeds it goes fast than the ground speed thus you have to turn it back a tad. Electrically the reel should not know if there is a load or not. If it is the torque limiter valve , it does not know if the unit is auto or not. This is puzzlings. lEt us know if this works of not.
