Combines Autosteer hater

Hello Was just reviewing comments you have posted. I want to throw in one more consideration into the mix. Have you thought about RTK EXTEND. This is a very precious tool if you are in an area where you lose signal. Extend with your RTK system enables you to go without a signal for up to 15 minutes.

I'm pretty sure I heard something about that from the Trimble guys. We're going HP initally and I think it also has a similar option (could be wrong) but inbetween the usual sales routine, I distinclly remember something about a similar system being mentioned. As I said, everybody has to size everything up for themselves and find the system that works best for them. The most important thing is to remember that good backup service is essential and that is where a number of companies out here, (particularly the early high profile companies of Autosteer) really fell down. All sale, no substance. As I said in my other post, it came down to a chice between Agleader or Greenstar, unfortunatley the nearest dealership for JD is only a satelite shed with the main dealership 2hrs away. The spare parts guy here is good but the new sales guy for this dealership you wouldn't P on if he was on fire.
