Check out the longranger fuel tank at http:__eclix.ca_longranger I installed one on my 2188 in 1999 and have never had any trouble with it. I installed it myself in about 2 hours, just needed a drill and a jigsaw with a steel blade in it. I have run up to 16 hours on 1 fill with it, before we had to fill at about 11 hours. Only drawback is there are 2 filler tubes now, about 12" apart on the back deck.

Go to a farm sale and buy an auxilliary front mount fuel tank. Most will hold around 45 gals and can be picked up pretty cheap. Mount it on the upper deck below the unload auger and plumb it into the existing fuel line. Be sure to add a shutoff valve otherwise it will overflow the existing tank. When OEM tank gets below 1_2 full open the valve and you are set for the rest of the day.
