Thank you canuck. I am from North Dakota. I will have to check with my cat dealer about a service list. Even 500 hundred dollars isn't bad. They tell you what is wrong and will let you do the repairs yourselfIJ That is all right. I know a case dealer that started with that but they would do the repairs anyways since they had the machine apart and would just hand you a ten to fifeteen thousand dollar bill on an axial flow.

no they just give you the list what they do when they take the machine in to the shop .when you take it to the dealer it is 500 bucks then if they find anything wrong you pay for them to fix what needs fixed. but if you want the list that they use to go through your combine just ask them for acopy of it and if you got time just do it yourself.we have the 480r and itsonly got 155sep hours so i think we are just going to go through it our selfs untill next year and then take it in to are dealer and let them go through it

$500 sounds a little steep. I have two Case dealers near me. One charges $239 for the inspection and the other one does it free. Both dealers will let you do any repairs you want yourself and they will do the rest but you must buy the parts from them. Parts are 10% off on this program.

the 500 dollars includes trucking plus their is a lot more moving parts on the cat then their is on the case .The case does't take as much time to look over the machine. That is one knock on the cat their is a lot of belts and moving parts to go over.thats the sacrifice for more capacity.

If the combine is under warranty, shouldn't the dealer do the checkover for freeIJ
