Much of that can be proven with a simple visit to the U.S.Patent office online. I dont know much about the world patent stuff but I spend a lot of time at the U.S.Patent office doing research. There are many different types of threshing system patents as well as cleaning system patents and so on. There are also many books published about farm inventions. Be careful though about what you believe, many books are published without enough fact. If it cannot be proven in some way, be somewhat cautious. If the book is written by a particular company that happens to be involved with the sale or production of said invention, then you can pretty much figure its going to be somewhat biased information. Thanks for posting that tidbit of historical combine information. Maybe it will inspire someone to start experimenting with some new ideas.
