Combines Back from Hesston Plant

We got back on Wednesday and we were impressed with the new plant also. Did you get to see the new 14" unloader auger that moves 2.9bu_sec, it looks as big as the one on our grain cart. We also got to see the new hydraulic drive spreader, it has three spreaders back there,so that should really spread the straw. I also noticed that they are using a 7" rear drum now to get more capacity for the big headers. And the slickest update is moving that grease zert thats on the rotor to the outside of the combine so you don't have to take off that little door to grease the rotor splines.

I was very impressed that the CEO of AGCO, Mr. Ratliff came into Hesston, KS. and spoke with the tour groups. I think that says a lot for him and the whole AGCO company. I think AGCO is well on their way to a brighter future. They certainly have a good start there in Hesston!
