Combines Banging noise on N6

The front auger seems to be tough on bearings. I have had to replace it twice and the back one I have not replaced yet. Also had a banging noise this past fall on my N6 and found that the bearings on the accelerator rolls were going out and making a heck of a racket. The "Tattletale" monitors start to go off when that happens. Of Course the front auger is not easy to get at and the back cross feed auger is easy. Good luck!

My R-70 had a similar noise like yours, and it turned out to be coming from the impeller_beater. Took off the cover and simply replaced the 2 bolts that hold the beater onto the shaft. After doing this the machine has run smooth as can be. Good luck!
