Are the filler plates in the cylinder or in the concaveIJ If they're in the cylinder, they're hiding part of the leading face of the cylinder bars, preventing the cylinder from feeding the vines as efficiently as it should. This is likely causing you to run a faster cylinder speed than should be required in order to feed the machine. Faster cylinder speed equates with tighter concave setting for thresh. This causes material to be torn up more than required, putting more small components of trash on the shoe. Hope this helps some --
