Not sure I understand what you mean by too many coming over the seives but will take it too mean many pods and not threshed pods...would start at the head...many on this sight have recommended putting a 1.5 to 2 in. pvc pipe or suction hose on the cutterbar right behind the guards fastened with conduit clamps bolted to the guard bolts as a big aid in getting short beans in and not bunching...added bonus is that it helps keep out rocks...am doing this to mine but our beans are not ready yet so can't give run results but scroll down the posts and check the Gleaner sight for some who have used this... getting the beans to feed evenly will make some difference in the threshing..would speed up rotor until you start getting some grain damage...if pods are still coming through tighten up the grate a bit..now let me add one more idea which is not a setting but makes a big difference in grain quality and that is that if the stalks and top pods are real green, letting them dry a few more days will make more of a difference then anything you can adjust..because of the June,July dryness and heavy rain in August here in NE OH the beans are greener then they would be most years so we are waiting, but not patiently..good luck

Had same problem last few days with 1020 I had just purchased used. Fingers didn't feed green stems well. Wanted to wrap on fingers. After muchand^%n@ I realized that tines were too far away from sickle and caused bunching. If you fix this you may find your threshing system work better. I just went to cylinders on reel, turned them down 4 turns and had a whole new platform.
